Solar Inverters
Your one stop provider for a full range of quality solar Inverters.
A power inverter, or inverter, is a power electronic device or circuitry that changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The electricity generated by the solar panels is produced as direct current, which is different from the electricity fed into the grid and used at home, which is alternating current. For this reason, most photovoltaic systems today are connected to a type of inverter that converts direct current into alternating current, enabling individuals to sell electricity back into the grid or simply using them in the home.

The role of solar inverters, also known as the “brain of the solar photovoltaic system” is a key component of a photovoltaic system (PV) and the primary energy source for the home. The inverter is so efficient that it can easily supply abundant power, and it is the primary power source for a large number of solar panels and solar power plants.

There are three types of inverters – sine wave (sometimes referred to as a “true” or “pure” sine wave), modified sine wave (actually a modified square wave) and a square wave. A sine wave is the type of inverter you get from your local municipality and some generators.
